As with all of our proprietary wines, each bottle has a deep and personal meaning for us. Mud's Kitchen is named after James' grandmother, Margaret 'Mud' Madu, and her farmhouse kitchen where he grew up learning about flavors and life's great lessons. We certainly think that's something to raise a glass to!

Sourced from Clone #7 Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate, the grapes also give us an intense soft lushness that we really desire in our wines. With Mud's Kitchen, we hoped to showcase this wonderful clone and the intense muscular core and long expressive finish it gives us.

Note - To ensure the best experience of this library vintage, carefully remove the cork and wipe the inside of bottle’s neck to clear any inky sediment. Best enjoyed after being decanted for a minimum of 30 minutes. This wine remains bold and brooding after nearly a decade, showcasing impressive structure and intensity. Aromas of blackberry compote, black currant, and ripe plum mingle with espresso, dark chocolate, and tobacco leaf. The finish is long and powerful, with lingering notes of mocha, baking spices, and earthy minerality—a true testament to this vintage's depth and longevity.
