How to Build a Cheeseboard
There's nothing better than pairing a luscious glass of James Cole wine with a decadent spread of cheeses, cured meats, and crudités. What's not to like? With a broad range of flavors and textures, the pairing possibilities are endless. A cheese and charcuterie board is our go-to addition for dinners, parties and everything in between.

Follow our step-by-step guide below to create your own masterpiece cheese and charcuterie spread at home.
Instructions
Start with the board. We chose a large wooden butcher's block, but you can use any wooden board, stone or even small plates for individual servings.

Select your cheeses. We recommend choosing at least three different textures and styles (i.e. a soft cheese, an aged hard cheese, and something pungent).

Add charcuterie. Some of our favorite cured meats include prosciutto, salami, coppa & soppressetta. We also love the addition of patés and rillettes.

Add a savory element. We recommend things like olives, pickles, roasted peppers, tapenades, mustards, and nuts.

Add something sweet. Items such as fresh & dried fruits, jams, chocolate, candied nuts or honey are all great options.

Add bread + crackers. We love using sliced foccacia, breadsticks and crackers in a variety of shapes and textures.

Garnish and enjoy! Try using fresh edible flowers, herbs or seasonal fruit to really make your board stand out.
